College of Engineering and School of Medicine team up on knee ligament tears

Aaron Gray, an assistant professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Orthopaedics at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, and Marjorie Skubic, MU professor of electrical and computer engineering, have joined forces with a diverse group of faculty and student researchers to study the problem of ACL tears in adolescent female athletes.

New edition of book earns MU professor American Library Association accolade

Sudarshan Loyalka, a Curators’ Professor of nuclear engineering and the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, was co-author and one of three editors of Handbook of Alternative Fuel Technologies. The book’s second edition, released in 2014, recently was tabbed a Selected Title for February.
