The Mizzou chapter of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) hosted a robotics competition, ZouMo Bot. Twelve teams competed in the first ever event. The winning team, consisting of team members Jacob Ehrhardt, Daniel Bonuchi, Conrad Masterson, Max Fazekas and Joshua Cole, won Syma X5C Explorer Drone.

Mizzou Electrical and Computer Engineering Department faculty members Chi-Ren Shyu, Alina Zare and Robert O’Connell served as judges. Mizzou IEEE President Seth Miller said the organization hopes to make this an annual event.
