College of Engineering Alumni Awards
The College of Engineering, in addition to the MU Engineering Alumni Organization, bestows three awards annually to MU Engineering alumni. These awards recognize individuals or organizations who’ve made strides in the engineering industry and have impacted the College.
The James E. “Bud” Moulder Distinguished Alumni Award honors individuals and/or entities who distinguish themselves in service to the college in connection to the college’s mission to: educate engineers, create leaders and develop entrepreneurs in a research and interdisciplinary environment.
Bud Moulder (1922-2014) was a 1953 civil engineering alumnus. Click here for more information.
The Citation of Merit Award, conferred by the College of Engineering’s alumni organization MUEAO, recognizes a distinguished alumnus or alumna who has made a significant impact to the engineering profession and/or the college.
The award has been given annually since 1984 during Engineers’ Week.
The Missouri Honor Award for Distinguished Service in Engineering is the college’s highest honor. Alumni and engineering colleagues/technical organizations who have made outstanding contributions in one or more of a variety of areas are eligible for nomination. Up to five awards are bestowed each year during Engineers’ Week.
