Career Fair for Students

Note: Students do not need to register for Mizzou Engineering career fairs.

A career fair is often your first opportunity to make contact with an employer. Employers will note your appearance, preparedness and professionalism.

To prepare:

• Familiarize yourself with the list of employers attending the career fair on HireMizzouTigers.com, especially those hiring in your major and for the type of position you are seeking (e.g. internship, full time).
• Do research on the companies you are interested in, and prepare questions to ask company representatives.
• Update your résumé and have copies on hand to give to company representatives.
• Dress professionally.
