MU Concrete Canoe Team Takes 1st Place in Presentation

Chelsea Smith and Seth Scheilz teamed up to make a smooth and flawless technical presentation for the MU ASCE Concrete Canoe Team at the Regional Conference at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale on Friday 17 April 2009.  They received the first place award for their presentation leading the 11 university pack and received a perfect score of 25/25.  Chelsea praised Professor Martha Patton (MU English Department) for helping her develop expert presentation skills.  Seth, while nervous in the practice sessions, came through with a flawless performance.
