Edit a page

• Display Name
  • appears on menus, HTML title tags (at the top of your browser and search results) and breadcrumbs
• Title
  • appears at the top of each page
• Page Content
  • Body text of the page where you'll place your text and images
• Related Links
  • Appear below the left side navigation menu on group/center pages
  • Appear on the right sidebar of department pages
• Advanced Options
  • Can be largely ignored
• Submit
  • saves your changes
• Save Draft
  • Saves a draft for later.
  • Will not be automatically published out on Friday Nights

System

• System Name
  • The actual web filename on the internet.
  • Should be easy to remember
  • Cannot have spaces or uppper case letters.
    • Example- Recent Publications should be recent-publications
  • In this example: http://engineering.missouri.edu/nano/about.php
  • Do not add any extension (.php or .html) to the name. This is handled automatically.
• Publish
  • Uncheck if you do not want a page to publish automatically
• Index
  • Uncheck if you do not want a page to show up in the navigation
