Engineering Logos and Unit Signatures
The University of Missouri is working toward creating a unified brand for all entities on the university campus. This is overseen at the campus-level by MU Division of Marketing & Communications (MARCOMM) and includes all logos and unit signatures. The College of Engineering unit signature is available from the MU Engineering Communications team and MARCOMM. Please contact us if you need an MU Engineering unit signature. To obtain a unit signature for all other departments, contact the Division of Marketing & Communications at email@example.com.
The MU institutional logo, sometimes referred to as the “stacked logo,” is intended for use in all MU all schools, colleges, departments, offices, programs and other units of the university. This logo should not be altered in any way. MU Marketing & Communications keeps a guide of the incorrect uses of this logo.
Unit signatures are the official logos of all schools, colleges, offices, centers, institutes, programs and other units of the university with an academic, research or health care focus. These are the only acceptable logos. Mizzou Creative is the only source for these official signatures. Individual university units may not create new logos. Read more…
What about other logos?
MU Marketing & Communications lists guidelines for other MU-sponsored graphics, such as the Tiger Head Spirit Mark and Truman the Tiger. Please refer to that department’s Identity Standards for more information on use of these graphics.
Products for sale?
The use of any MU logo on products/goods for sale, including, but not limited to, apparel, promotional merchandise, etc., must receive approval from MU’s Office of Licensing and Trademarks before printing or producing material bearing the University’s name.
