Burns & McDonnell, Kowalik family give generous gift to College

The University of Missouri College of Engineering received a generous gift totaling $500,000 from Burns & McDonnell, Inc., and alumnus Ray Kowalik and his wife, Jill, on Friday at a ceremony held at Thomas and Nell Lafferre Hall on the MU campus.

Study abroad trip offers unique look at nuclear science and technology

The French Alps Nuclear Science and Technology program is a collaboration of the College of Engineering, the MU Research Reactor [MURR], and the College of Arts & Science Physics Department. The goal of showcasing the many applications of nuclear science matched the International Atomic Energy Agency’s “Peaceful Uses Initiative.”
