High School Competition Day

Students can participate in three different challenging competitions:

The winning teams in each category will receive awards, and the individuals on those teams will receive scholarships to attend the College of Engineering at the University of Missouri. The competition is free of charge, and lunch will be provided.

While on campus, students and teachers will have the opportunity to participate in engineering tours, check out our engineering labs, observe team design projects and interact with students and faculty.

We will accept an unlimited number of entries in the wood bridge and egg catapult competitions, but, in the interest of time, only 12 teams will proceed to the second phase of the competitions (oral presentation).

Registration forms for 2010 will be available as dates and regulations are finalized.
