Additional Requirements

  1. Acceptable 3000+ elective in area of engineering, physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics
  2. One 3-hour elective must be designated as writing-intensive (WI).
  3. MAE Elective must be numbered 4000 or above.
  4. Students satisfy an economics requirement by taking IMSE 2710.
  5. Additional 2 hours (free elective) are required to satisfy 126 hours of graduation requirement. This is typically fulfilled by 2 hours of advanced standing credit for Chem 1310, which is earned by taking Chem 1320 and receiving a grade of C- or better.

Undergraduates must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to enroll in graduate (7000+) courses.
