For Academic Researchers

  • Students and researchers from this university who are interested in using our facility will be trained and then allowed to use the equipment:
    • Category 1 Equipment:
Equipment 1 processes require the expertise of a lab engineer. A lab engineer will operate this equipment, and it will be billed at the rate of $75.00/hour.
    • Category 2 Equipment:
Equipment processes may be operated by the user after completion of approved training and will be billed at the rate of $30.00/hour.
  • If customer requires a lab engineer to operate Category 2 equipment work will be billed at $75.00/hour.
  • Faculty/Students will pay using a University of Missouri approved MOCode, for inter-departmental purchases.
  • Equipment list will show the category of the instrument

For Corporate Researchers

  • Corporate and industrial users can utilize our research facility to develop new materials or thin film processes. Potential users should contact the facility for more details.
  • Equipment processes of both Category 1 & 2 require the expertise of a lab engineer. A lab engineer will operate this equipment for a corporate client, and the process will be billed at the rate of $75.00/hour.
  • Corporate Researchers will be able to pay using a company credit card, or a University approved purchase order.
  • Equipment list will show the category of the instruments.
