Advancing nanotechnology research
C. W. LaPierre Chair and Professor Shubhra Gangopadhyay gave an overview of research under way at the College of Engineering's Center for Nano- and Micro-Electromechanical Systems and Nanotechnology as well as its goals during the center's dedication on April 7. Gangopadhyay, an electrical and computer engineer, heads the college's work on highly miniaturized technology that can be used for both military and private purposes.
