Randy D. Curry is the Logan Distinguished Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Missouri as well as director of the Center for Physical and Power Electronics. Curry worked for more than 10 years in industry as an engineer and physicist. He has actively worked in water disinfection using electron beams, pulsed electric fields and ultraviolet light. Curry recently completed a contract for research into compact power supplies for pulse power geometries, and is currently researching high-power liquid dielectric switches for directed energy applications.
