Baolin Deng is a C.W. LaPierre professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Missouri. He has been principal investigator for two dozen research projects supported by the Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Remediation Science Program, National Science Foundation CAREER program and Environmental Protection Agency STAR program. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has served in various proposal review activities for DOE, DOD, NSF and EPA. Additionally, Deng has been a frequent reviewer for more than two dozen journals in the environmental field. He serves as associate editor for Environmental Engineering Science, and is on the editorial board of Journal of Chongqing University - English edition.
