Zhiqiang Hu is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri. Hu’s research interests include wastewater treatment, environmental nanotechnology and biotechnology, bacterial adhesion and biofilm processes, small flow wastewater treatment systems, emerging renewable energy issues and bioreactor landfills. Hu’s research has been funded by the U.S. EPA, the National Science Foundation, Water Environment Research Foundation and the U.S. Geological Survey
