Stephen J. Lombardo is an associate professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Missouri. Lombardo has several years of industrial experience, having worked for Saint-Gobain Corporation and CeraMem Corporation. His research has been financed by the National Science Foundation, the University of Missouri Research Board, the MU Research Reactor and the Petroleum Research Fund as well as by such private businesses as Alcoa Corp., AlliedSignal, Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Honeywell and Proctor & Gamble.
