Tim Matisziw is an assistant professor with a joint appointment in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and the Geography Department at the University of Missouri. His research spans a variety of spatial analysis issues relating to transportation systems, network modeling, location science, GIS and environmental planning. Before coming to MU, he was a researcher at Ohio State University. He has been published in over 20 refereed journals, including European Journal of Operations Research; Computers & Operations Research; Computers, Environment, and Urban Systems; Landscape Ecology; Transactions in GIS; Socio-Economic Planning Sciences; Journal of Geographical Systems. His research has been sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
