Sarah L. Orton is an assistant professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Missouri. She is a member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She has worked on projects involving use of carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) to provide continuity in buildings vulnerable to progressive collapse, seismic response of unreinforced masonry buildings, and risk and reliability analysis of offshore structures.
