Shinghua Ding Associate Professor
Shinghua Ding is an associate professor in the Bioengineering Department at the University of Missouri. He is also an investigator at MU’s Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center. His current research focuses on the glial and neuronal function in the central nervous system in health and disease. A variety of state-of-the-art techniques, including two-photon in vivo fluorescent imaging, patch-clamp, molecular biology and viral transduction, are used in his research. Cellular and molecular mechanisms related to neuronal damage following ischemia are being investigated.
