Ferris Pfeiffer Assistant Professor
Ferris M. Pfeiffer is a Mizzou Advantage Scholar in the One Health/One Medicine focus area. He is an assistant professor in the departments of Bioengineering and Orthopaedic Surgery. His research focuses on understanding orthopaedic tissue adaptation utilizing laboratory and computational models. Additionally, as head of Biomechanics and Bioengineering at the Comparative Orthopaedic Laboratory, he is intricately involved in the development of multiple orthopaedic treatments including anterior cruciate ligament repair and fixation, cartilage preservation and transplantation and detection and treatment of osteoarthritis.
