Robert Reed is an associate research professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and Director of the Midwest Energy Efficiency Research Consortium (MEERC) at the University of Missouri. Reed has 45 years of experience in government, industry, consulting and academia. He has worked in water supply, wastewater treatment, storm water management, air pollution control, municipal engineering and energy efficiency. His engineering practice includes project development, design and construction, and environmental and energy auditing. His research includes water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment, wetlands, facility remote sensing for management, and energy efficiency in the residential, industrial and commercial sectors.
