Singhal earns more than just accolade at app competition

Manav Singhal’s mScan application for the Android operating system earned him a runner-up selection at the OPSWAT Student App Competition, and that work earned him an internship with OPSWAT, a provider of software management and security technologies, in San Francisco this summer.

Alumnus leads development of MU Gameday football app

Tyten Teegarden, who earned his bachelor’s in information technology in 2010, and four convergence journalism students began work on an MU Gameday app last semester, with the goal of being ready to go by kickoff of Missouri’s season and 2014 home opener on Aug. 30 against South Dakota State.

March Sky’s maiden voyage a success

The Mizzou chapter of the American Institute of Astronautics and Aeronatics hosted the first March Sky rocket camp, which took place March 21 to 23 on the campus of the University of Missouri.
