26 honored at first 1907 Celebration of Women in Engineering

A total of 19 students, five members of the faculty and staff and two alumnae were honored at the 1907 Celebration of Women in Engineering, hosted by the University of Missouri Women in Engineering Center.
A total of 19 students, five members of the faculty and staff and two alumnae were honored at the 1907 Celebration of Women in Engineering, hosted by the University of Missouri Women in Engineering Center. The banquet honoring several standout women for their contributions to the MU College of Engineering and the engineering field was held April 27 in Columbia, Mo.
The 1907 Celebration of Women in Engineering was named in honor of the first woman graduate of the MU College of Engineering, Ada Wilson, who graduated with a civil engineering degree in May of 1907. In total, 19 students, two alumnae and five members of the faculty and staff were honored at the inaugural event. The honorees, listed here alongside their home departments, were:
