Internship success: Reid thrives at NASA

MU Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering senior Sam Reid maximized his engineering and leadership skills this spring, landing an internship with NASA at the Wallops Flight Facility. Learn a little more about his internship in his own words.

Reid: This past spring, I worked at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility under the Balloon Program Office (BPO). I was the Balloon Research and Development Lab Intern for that semester. This experienced helped me develop a passion for test engineering as well as research and development in the aerospace field.
