Civil engineering duo sweeps top spots at TEAM Transportation Fair

A pair of MU Civil and Environmental Engineering graduate students took the top two spots in the Best Paper Presentation competition at the 2018 TEAM Transportation Fair in St. Louis in late September.

Omid Davami earned first-place honors, while Sandy Zhang finished in second place. Davami is advised by Amir Alavi and Bill Buttlar, and Zhang’s adviser is Carlos Sun.

TEAM is an organization that’s “primary focus and commitment [is] to transportation issues relevant to the metropolitan St. Louis area, consisting of the City of St. Louis as well as St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe and St. Clair Counties.”
