MSCS Conference 2020
MSCS Conference 2020 has been cancelled due to COVID-19. The committee hopes that all registrants stay safe and healthy.
The MCSC Mid-Continent Student Conference is one of many regional conferences in the United States, with over 500 students, engineers, and spectators attending the conference. The winner of each regional competition qualifies to compete in a national competition. One of the key goals of the conference is to aid in the development of relationships between students throughout the region. In addition, it helps students gain experience with Civil Engineering design and an understanding of Civil Engineering standards and ethics.
The 2020 Mid-Continent Student Conference will be hosted by the University of Missouri on April 16-18, 2020. The three-day event is expected to draw nearly four hundred participants from 16 universities.
This event allows students from 15 different schools throughout the mid-west to come together and engage in friendly and educational competitions, including the Concrete Canoe Competition, Innovation Competition, Technical Paper Presentation, Geo Institute Geo-Wall Competition, and Student Steel Bridge Competition. In addition, there are lunches, networking events and banquets. This event is designed to prompt students to explore their own potential and demonstrate their abilities.
