Camp COE is an exciting experience for incoming engineering students at Mizzou. Here’s a bit more about what to expect from the experience.
What does C.O.E. stand for? C.O.E. stands for College of Engineering.
What is Camp C.O.E.? Camp COE serves as a student led avenue that will welcome and pass on COE traditions and values while creating a universally accepting support system in an environment that helps build relationships.
Who can attend Camp C.O.E.? Any incoming freshmen, transfer, and international students are welcome to attend.
What kind of amenities can I expect at Camp C.O.E.? A variety of housing options will be utilized at the camp including a hall, lodge, and cabins.
How long does Camp C.O.E. last? Camp C.O.E. will be most of the weekend. We will depart from campus on Friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon!
Why should I participate in Camp C.O.E.? Camp COE will give students the opportunity to meet other students and faculty/staff in a safe, relaxed and fun atmosphere.
What activities does Camp C.O.E. provide? Activities such as the “blob” and ziplining over the lake, land sports including sand volleyball and gaga ball, paintball, axe throwing, and archery, all subject to change upon provided interest.
How much money does Camp C.O.E. cost? Camp C.O.E. is free of cost to the first 230 incoming students who register to attend.
How do I get to Camp C.O.E.? Engineering will provide bus transportation to and from the camp to give you the full camping experience.
How do I register? Registration for Camp COE is currently closed.
How can I get involved in Camp C.O.E.? Enjoy your experience as a camper! If you absolutely love it, we ask that you come back next year and become either a camp director or counselor.
What should I bring?
