Biography
Keshab Gangopadhyay is a research professor in the Electrical Engineering and Coputer Science Department at the University of Missouri. He also holds an adjunct professorship at MU’s Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute. His areas of research are nanotechnology, nanoenergetics, neutron transport theory, particle simulation methods and hydrodynamic and hydromagnetic stability. Gangopadhyay served as co-director of the Institute of Numerical Transport Theory at Texas Tech University in 1988 and 1991. He is the co-founder of two nanotechnology companies incorporated in Missouri and works with MU, investors and federal agencies to commercialize several technologies. Gangopadhyay serves on the executive board of the Missouri-based NanoTechnology Enterprise Consortium.
