Biography
Sabreena Anowar is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Architectural Studies at the University of Missouri. She joined Mizzou in Fall 2019. Prior to joining Mizzou, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in Singapore, the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the University of Toronto (UofT) in Canada. Anowar’s research work and interests are multifaceted with a focus on the application of econometric models for examining different decision processes pertaining to both passenger travel, freight transportation and transportation safety. She is interested to investigate the evolution of travel behavior with the advent of newer/disruptive modes of transport as well as people’s perception and acceptance of these newer options and services.
