Sabreena Anowar, Assistant Professor

Sabreena Anowar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Architectural Studies, University of Missouri. She joined Mizzou in Fall 2019. Prior joining Mizzou she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in Singapore, University of Central Florida (UCF) in USA, and University of Toronto (UofT) in Canada. Dr Anowar received her PhD from McGill University, Canada, her MSc from University of Calgary, Canada and her BSc from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh. Dr Anowar’s research work and interests are multifaceted with a focus on the application of econometric models for examining different decision processes pertaining to both passenger travel, freight transportation, and transportation safety. She is interested to investigate the evolution of travel behavior with the advent of newer/disruptive modes of transport as well as people’s perception and acceptance of these newer options and services.
