Biography

Hsiu-hung “Simon” Chen is a research assistant professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Missouri. He currently is involved with projects encompassing thermal management of solar power system; the fundamental study of phase-change on hierarchical surface; and interface improvement for thermal connector. Before joining the Thermal, Fluid & Energy Laboratory in 2011, he worked on an National Institutes of Health-funded project regarding Germplasm preservation and was trained as a postdoctoral researcher.
