Engineering Tutoring

At Mizzou Engineering, we believe the best engineering happens through collaboration, including how you learn. Our free tutoring services are a key part of your academic support system, designed to help you strengthen your understanding, tackle challenges and build confidence in your coursework.

Our tutors are fellow engineering students who understand the rigor of your courses and are here to help you succeed, not by giving you answers, but by helping you think critically, ask better questions and take charge of your learning. Whether you’re reviewing for a big exam or working through complex homework problems, tutoring is a smart strategy. There’s no judgment and no stigma, just a shared commitment to your academic growth and success.

How it works

Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis; no appointment is needed. Just check the schedule to find out when a tutor is available for your course and stop by during those posted hours. Bring your notes, questions, or homework, and get help in a relaxed, peer-supported environment.

Course coverage

Engineering tutoring primarily supports lower-level engineering, math and science courses. Tutoring for select upper-level courses may also be available, depending on tutors’ availability and student demand.
