Engineering Technical Services (ETS) is a service department under the College of Engineering Dean’s office tasked with provided technical services to support the College of Engineering’s academic and research mission. ETS provides service to the College of Engineering’s faculty, staff, and students. ETS provides services in the following areas:

Education Technology

Responsible for supporting instructional technologies, learning environments, and instructional design that enhance teaching and learning for faculty and students.

Project & Information Management Services

Facilitates the assessment, discovery, and creation of innovative solutions to meet the technology project and information needs of the college.

Computing Systems

Responsible for IT infrastructure in the college in support of desktop and server computing and telecommunication services.

Research Support

Provides technology consultations in support of research efforts on campus for IT, electronics, and mechanical projects.

Academic Technology

Provides high quality support and innovation in delivery of information technology products and services to CoE teaching faculty and staff.

IT Business Services

Provides support in the areas of administrative, fiscal, personnel, asset management and security services.

Student Employment and Learning Opportunities

ETS will provide work study opportunities each semester in each one of our support areas, IT, Electronics, and Mechanical, to students who are interested in and committed to hands on learning, working with people, and value technology.
