About MU Engineering Alumni Association
The Organization is an affiliate of the University of Missouri Alumni Association, an independent, not-for-profit educations corporation. The purpose of this organization is to provide services to its alumni constituency and to the University. Services and activities may be educational, developmental or social and may encourage both fellowship and constructive contributions to the University. This organization encourages alumni to support the College of Engineering and to participate in building a greater University.
In 2019, the Recent Alumni Development Board (RAD) consisting of 15-20 recent alumni (within 10 years of graduation), was merged with the EAO. The two groups combined forces to become one alumni organization for the MU College of Engineering. The board meets on campus twice each year and plans events in Columbia and throughout the state of Missouri to endorse the College.
Additionally, the EAO nominates and selects a candidate for the College’s annual Citation of Merit Award, honoring one alumnus or alumna who has made noteworthy contributions to the engineering profession and/ or the College of Engineering.
