Biography
Ekincan Ufuktepe is an instructor and a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He received his PhD and MS degrees in computer engineering on software testing and software security from the Izmir Institute of Technology. In 2013, he worked at SAP Labs France as a researcher at the Security and Trust department, where he worked on preventing and mitigating input validation vulnerabilities on on SAP HANA cloud.
His current research interest involves, software engineering, software testing, software security, program analysis and search-based software engineering (SBSE). He also works on developing computer vision tools for assisting researchers.
