Biography
Sheila A. Grant is associate vice chancellor of Research & Strategic Initiatives for the University of Missouri and a professor in the Department of Biomedical, Biological and Chemical Engineering at the University of Missouri. A former post-doctoral researcher and research engineer for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, Grant has received research funding from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the National Pork Board, the Missouri Beef Council Agency, Medtronic, Covidien, MTF Inc. and the Department of Agriculture via a subcontract with the University of Minnesota.
