The Missouri Water Research Center, University of Missouri, invites proposals for funding by the Office of the U.S. Geological Survey, Department of the Interior. The Center operates the USGS (United States Geological Survey) Water Research Institute program for the state of Missouri. The federal research dollars administered through the Center are available to all universities in Missouri.

NIWR Annual Grant proposal (104B)
Proposals must be submitted by Nov. 9, 2015, using the USGS 104B Proposal Format. Budget worksheets and research focus areas are included to assist with these requirements. Please do not mail proposals directly to NIWR.
This program issues an annual call for proposals to support research on water problems and issues of a regional or interstate nature beyond those of concern only to a single state and which relate to specific program priorities identified jointly by the USGS and the institutes. Any investigator at an institution of higher learning in the United States is eligible to apply for a grant through a Water Research Institute or Center established under the provisions of the Water Resources Research Act of 1984, as amended. Proposals involving substantial collaboration between the USGS and university scientists are encouraged. Successful applicants must match each dollar of the federal grant with one dollar from non-federal sources. — NIWR
