St. Patrick officiated the 120th Knighting Ceremony. The week concluded with the gala crowning of Wyatt Carlson and Ellie Bacon as E-Week King and Queen.

Mizzou’s Engineers’ Week is one of the largest celebrations of the engineering profession in the nation. Students, faculty and community members honored the rich history of the College of Engineering while fostering professional personal growth and development.
The theme of E-Week 2026, “St. Patrick’s Day Off,” was inspired by John Hughes’ classic 1986 film, and united the campus community in celebrating the achievements, innovation and legacy of Mizzou Engineering and its students.
Alumni, students and faculty gathered at The Heidelberg March 6 to reconnect before joining the crowd on Francis Quadrangle to watch as the Jesse Hall Dome was lit green in honor of Mizzou Engineers.
The 2026 Shamrock Race for Charity March 8 raised funds for Mobility Worldwide, which supports individuals with mobility disabilities in developing countries.
“The Shamrock Race event brought the Columbia community together and showed how engineering students can make a positive impact beyond just the campus,” E-Week Co-Chair Carter Cramer said.
The Society of Women Engineers hosted the Ada Wilson Green Tea Lecture March 8 to honor women in engineering and pay tribute to Mizzou’s first female engineering graduate, Ada Wilson, and the accomplishments of graduating seniors. Jessica Hutton, BS CE ’03, MPA ’05 delivered an insightful and inspiring keynote address.
Students enjoyed free lunch and spring weather at the annual Hot Dog Banquet March 9 on Shamrock Plaza.
Mizzou Engineering departments, research labs and student organizations shared the excitement of discovery during Lab Exhibits March 12. Engineering students gave tours and presentations to grade school and high school groups, sparking young people’s interest in engineering.
St. Patrick made his 120th visit to Mizzou for the Knighting Ceremony March 13 and acknowledge the seniors before they embark on the next leg of their engineering journeys.
E-Week concluded with the St. Patrick’s Ball March 14. The gala culminated with the crowning of the Engineer’s Week King Wyatt Carlson and Queen Ellie Bacon.
