AI-Ready Missouri Summit

Friday, May 29 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m. CT| Ketcham Auditorium (hybrid Zoom option available – information provided upon registration)

The Colleges of Arts & Science & Engineering at the University of Missouri are convening leaders from across the state for the AI-Ready Missouri Summit—a focused, high-impact gathering designed to shape the future of artificial intelligence across Missouri.

This hybrid summit will bring together decision-makers from agriculture, healthcare, energy, higher education, and manufacturing for a structured, working session centered on one core objective: identifying the real-world gaps, challenges, and opportunities that will define Missouri’s AI future. Through curated lightning perspectives and facilitated roundtable discussions, participants will contribute direct insight into workforce needs, adoption barriers, and sector-specific priorities across areas such as agriculture, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing.

More than a conversation, this summit is a working session to inform action. Insights gathered will directly shape the development of a statewide AI coordination hub—positioned at the University of Missouri—to serve as a central connector of expertise, training, and resources. This hub is envisioned as a front door for AI across Missouri, enabling organizations to navigate adoption, access talent and knowledge, and accelerate innovation.

Participants will play a defining role in shaping this effort—helping to establish priorities, guide future investments, and influence how Missouri competes in an AI-driven economy. The summit represents an opportunity to move beyond isolated efforts and toward a coordinated, statewide strategy—one that reflects Missouri’s unique strengths and ensures that the benefits of AI reach communities across the entire state.
