Biography

Melissa Collins is the First Year Engineering Coordinator and an assistant teaching professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering.

She spent several years working in the medical device field supporting surgical navigation devices within the neurosurgery field. She has previously taught in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. Currently, she is teaching and coordinating the Engineering 1050 courses for our first year students and the Peer Mentoring that accompanies that. Her background is in Vascular Biomechanics.
