Graduate school brings students, faculty, postdoctoral scholars and staff together from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. You’ll become connected with an extensive network of experts from engineering and interdisciplinary areas. We’re conducting the latest research, developing new innovations and creating breakthrough technologies.

Prospective students who wish to earn a master’s, doctoral degree or stand-alone graduate certificate should complete the application for admission.

Teaching assistantships and research assistantships include a stipend and fully cover tuition, as well as providing professional experience and academic training. The best way to explore specific areas of research at Mizzou Engineering is by visiting individual department pages. You can find research focus areas, research centers and faculty directories in each department section of the web. In some cases, you can search by technical focus areas to see who’s working in specific research areas. You can also explore our research centers, labs and more using the “research” tab in the menu bar.

The College of Engineering graduate programs promote technology, innovation and entrepreneurship with interdisciplinary opportunities. The application process for international applicants is similar to the process for domestic applications. International applicants do have to show English proficiency to be admitted and a minimum amount of financial support to be issued immigration documents.
