Faculty QLearning Buddies Spring 2026 Session

The Faculty QLearning Buddies program is a series designed to help our community explore the field of quantum computing. Our mission is to bring together faculty, students, and industry partners to explore quantum computing and have hands-on experience on the IBM quantum machines. The program is tailored for those with no prior experience, guiding participants to become confident practitioners ready to incorporate quantum computing into their research or professional workflows.

Quantum Practitioner’s Workshop

Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025

The MU QIC had it’s first Quantum Practitioner’s Training on Jan. 16. Joined by IBM Quantum’s Americas Lead Victoria Lipinska, this full-day event introduced the QIC and IBM’s Qiskit SDK. A total of 77 in-person and 34 online attendees were able to run “Hello World” on a quantum computer by the end of the day.
