Engineering Ambassadors

An Engineering Ambassador talking with a prospective student

Why be an undergraduate Engineering Student Ambassador?

If you love being a Mizzou engineering student and want to share that passion with the next generation of students, apply to be an Engineering Student Ambassador.

The Engineering Student Ambassadors serve a critical role in the College of Engineering by building awareness of the college at events and presentations, serving as mentors for current and prospective students and supporting the offices of Recruitment and Retention and Advancement.

Engineering Student Ambassadors have opportunities to travel, sharpen their leadership and communication skills, make new friends, and acquire knowledge and experience that will be useful for a lifetime.

Ambassadors help prospective students get to know the College of Engineering. We provide answers to questions like the biggest adjustments when joining a program or student organizations, favorite places to study, why to study abroad and why to choose Mizzou Engineering and majors.

Engineering Ambassadors receive a $250 stipend for the work with the organization as well as a Mizzou Engineering polo shirt, name tag, chords for graduating seniors and a letter of recommendation for seniors from the associate dean of academic programs highlighting work as representatives of the College of Engineering.

What do Engineering Ambassadors do?
