The St. Pat’s Board has tirelessly worked with College administrators, volunteers, campus officials and others in order to bring about the 122nd edition of Engineers’ Week at Mizzou.

E-Week Student and Alumni Networking Event
Friday, March 7 | 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. | Overholser Atrium
Have you ever wanted to hear directly from Mizzou alumni about what their day-to-day work looks like, stories from their careers, or even advice for graduating seniors? You’ll have a chance to do all this and more at this informal event (just bring yourself).
Alumni Happy Hour
Friday, March 7 | 4 p.m. | The Heidelberg
Join us at The Heidelberg to catch up with former classmates and friends of the College.
Dome Lighting, Jesse Hall
Friday, March 7 | 6:30 p.m. | Francis Quadrangle
One of the most visible and highly anticipated E-week events for not only Mizzou Engineers but all of the Mizzou campus and Columbia community. Come out to watch Jesse Hall’s dome turn green to signify the start of Engineers’ Week at Mizzou.
Road Rally
Saturday, March 8 | 10 a.m. | Perry Legend Collision Repair Center parking lot
Teams “follow the yellow brick road” through clues given at each stop, where a King and Queen candidate are waiting to challenge the team and reward their valiant effort with a clue to the next stop. The teams race across all of Columbia to end up at a secret location for food, fun and dancing. The fastest team gets a prize!
5K/10K Shamrock Race for Charity
Sunday, March 9 | 9 a.m. | north side of Lafferre Hall (Shamrock Plaza)
This race will take place on Columbia’s downtown streets. Proceeds are donated to benefit Rainbow House as an opportunity to give back to the community.
Ada Wilson Green Tea Lecture
Sunday, March 9 | TBA | Ketcham Auditorium
All students are invited to celebrate women in engineering at the Green Tea Lecture celebrates women in engineering. The event is being held to recognize seniors graduating from the College of Engineering and is open to all! Following the lecture, a meal will be held at the Chancellor’s Residence. Seniors will be honored at the event. Signup coming soon.
The Hot Dog Banquet
Monday, March 10 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Shamrock Plaza
Hot Dog Banquet is our way to give back to the students of the College of Engineering. We offer a free lunch for all students, faculty and staff. The event will be held outside of Lafferre Hall on Shamrock Plaza and is a great way for the College of Engineering to come together. There might even be a hot dog eating contest!
Skits & BBQ
Wednesday, March 12 | 7 p.m. | TBA
Skits & BBQ brings students and faculty together. Royalty candidates put on humorous skits that are judged by our very own staff and faculty. Attendees can enjoy BBQ while they watch the skits that celebrate the College of Engineering.
Lab Exhibits
Thursday, March 13 | 9 a.m. | Lafferre Hall
Departments and research groups open their labs to the public to showcase the innovation happening at Mizzou Engineering. Engineering students volunteer to present and give tours to grade schools, high schools and other community members.
Knighting Ceremony and Grand Kowtow
Friday, March 14 | 5 p.m. | Shamrock Plaza
The Knighting Ceremony and Grand Kowtow are long-running traditions of Engineers’ Week. This is the only time St. Patrick comes to campus, as he safely travels to Mizzou to honor hard-working senior engineering students and celebrate their achievements within the College of Engineering.
St. Patrick’s Ball
Saturday, March 15 | 6 p.m. | Reynolds Alumni Center ballroom
St. Pat’s Ball, the concluding Engineers’ Week event, dates back to 1905 and is one of the oldest E-Week traditions. The ball includes dinner and dancing hosted by the MU Engineering Alumni Organization. During the festivities, the Queen and the King are crowned.
