Alumni Happy Hour

Dome Lighting
Friday, March 6 | 6:30 p.m. | Francis Quadrangle
One of the most visible and highly anticipated E-week events for not only Mizzou Engineers but all of the Mizzou campus and Columbia community. Come out to watch Jesse Hall’s dome turn green to signify the start of Engineers’ Week at Mizzou.

Road Rally
Saturday, March 7
Teams will follow clues given at each stop, where a King and Queen candidate are waiting to challenge the team and reward their valiant effort with a clue to the next stop. The teams journey across Columbia and finish at a secret location for food and fun. There will be team prizes!
5K/10K Shamrock Race for Charity
Sunday, March 8 | 9 a.m. | North side of Lafferre Hall (Shamrock Plaza)
This race will take place on Columbia’s downtown streets. Proceeds are donated to benefit a local cause as an opportunity to give back to the community. We are excited to announce the profits from this year’s race will be donated to Mobility Worldwide!

Ada Wilson Green Tea Lecture

The Ada Wilson Green Tea is held to celebrate women in engineering and to recognize May and December 2026 graduates from the College of Engineering. This event is hosted by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and is open to all.
The Hot Dog Banquet
Monday, March 9 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Shamrock Plaza
Hot Dog Banquet is our way to give back to the students of the College of Engineering. We offer a free lunch for all students, faculty and staff. The event will be held outside of Lafferre Hall on Shamrock Plaza and is a great way for the College of Engineering to come together. There might even be a hot dog eating contest!
Engineers’ Tank
Tuesday, March 10 | 6-7:30 p.m. | Ketcham Auditorium
Engineers’ Tank is the newest event of E-Week. In collaboration with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), student organizations will compete to reimagine and present everyday items as new products or solutions. Judging will be based on
the creativity, innovation, and persuasiveness of each team.
Skits & BBQ
Wednesday, March 11 | 7 p.m. | Harpo’s
Skits & BBQ brings students and faculty together. Royalty candidates put on humorous skits that are judged by our very own staff and faculty. Attendees can enjoy BBQ while they watch the skits that celebrate the College of Engineering.
Lab Exhibits
Thursday, March 12 | 9 a.m. | Lafferre Hall
Departments and research groups open their labs to the public to showcase the innovation happening at Mizzou Engineering. Engineering students volunteer to present and give tours to grade schools, high schools and other community members.
Knighting Ceremony and Grand Kowtow
Friday, March 13 | 5 p.m. | Shamrock Plaza
The Knighting Ceremony and Grand Kowtow are long-running traditions of Engineers’ Week. This is the only time St. Patrick comes to campus, as he safely travels to Mizzou to honor hard-working senior engineering students and celebrate their achievements within the College of Engineering.
Celtic Games
Saturday, March 14 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Stankowski Field
Engineers will compete in field day events such as tug of war, foot races, various yard games and finishing it off, a large game of capture the flag. Join for good fun and comradery.
St. Patrick’s Ball
Saturday, March 14 | 6 p.m. | Stotler Lounge, Memorial Union
St. Pat’s Ball, the concluding Engineers’ Week event, dates back to 1905 and is one of the oldest E-Week traditions. The ball includes appetizers, drinks and dancing. During the festivities, the Queen and the King are crowned by St. Patrick.
