Biography

Ming Xin is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri. His research focuses on guidance, navigation, and control of aerospace systems such as spacecraft, aircraft, launch vehicles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as robotic systems. His research has been funded by the NSF, DOE, USDA, and NASA. Dr. Xin was the recipient of the prestigious NSF CAREER Award. He is an Associate Fellow of AIAA, a Senior Member of IEEE and AAS, and a member of ASME. He is a Technical Editor for IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, and an Associate Editor for AIAA Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets.
