Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Biography
Yue Jin is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri. Before joining Mizzou, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at MIT. His research interests span multiple areas of thermal-fluid sciences and nuclear engineering, including fluid flow mass and heat transfer, reactor thermal hydraulics, design, modeling and optimization of complex energy systems (compact heat exchangers/steam generators, advanced nuclear reactors, etc.). He is also interested in the development and validation of multi-scale multi-physics numerical tools used for energy system analysis. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 2019.
