Quantum Computing Access

As part of the Quantum Innovation Center, you can gain priority access to IBM’s current production quantum computers. This currently includes several 156-qubit machines with error mitigation.

Faculty members and students interested in learning how quantum computing may benefit their research are encouraged to email itrss@missouri.edu.

Grant Proposal Assistance

IT Research Support Solutions provides grant proposal assistant for the QIC resources. Please contact itrss@missouri.edu for grant proposal assistance. A current list of quantum computer specifications can be accessed here.

Quantum compute resources

  • 5 QPUs with 156 Qubits
    • 300K-340K Circuit Layer Operations per Second (CLOPS) each
    • 2Q error (layered): <4.62e-3
  • 1 QPU with 133 Qubits
    • 290K CLOPS
    • 2Q error (layered): <6.21e-3
  • 1 QPUs with 120 Qubits
    • 24K CLOPS each
    • 2Q error (layered): <9.4e-2
  • All QPUs employ circuits capable of running 5,000 two-qubit gates, which surpass classically simulatable experiments
