Graduate Research

Question. Investigate. Discover. As a graduate student at Mizzou Engineering, you will work side-by-side with leading experts to conduct research and find solutions to real-world problems. Our students take the lead on important research publications, present at international conferences and showcase their projects at research events.

We promote interdisciplinary research, too, meaning you’ll have opportunities to work with collaborators from across campus, including the School of Medicine, Trulaske College of Business, College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources and more. Mizzou is also home to the MU Research Reactor, the largest research reactor on a university campus in the country.

Additionally, MU promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership. Participate in the student angel group, join a graduate student council or enhance your studies with a graduate certificate. Interested in academia? Mizzou offers a Preparing Future Faculty Fellowship Program to help you hone your skills.

Our graduate students have gone on to work for top academic institutes around the world and at leading companies and national labs.
