A new organization will bring together students interested in pursuing careers in construction management and in becoming a licensed professional engineer. The Mizzou Professional Engineers And Construction (ZOUPEAC) held its chartering ceremony on Monday, Nov. 15.

Torq ‘N Tigers win five performance categories at international event

Members of the Torq ‘N Tigers team at the competition in Peoria, Illinois. Mizzou’s Torq ’N Tigers team took first place in five categories at the 2021 International 1/4 Scale Tractor Student Design Competition. Members of the team design and build a tractor each year for the competition. This year, they placed first in durability, low hook 1100-pound class, high hook 1100-pound class, low hook 1600-pound class and high hook 1600-pound class. A soon-to-be Mizzou Engineering graduate's career path will come full circle when he starts a job as an aircraft systems designer at Garmin in May. Caleb Edmonds, a senior from Parkville, Missouri, will focus on the installation of Garmin’s auto pilot systems into many types of aircraft.
