Student team devises way to control robotic arm using hand gestures

What makes the work especially unique is that researchers only used one pair of electrodes on each of a person’s arms to send signals that moved a robotic arm, said Richard Byfield, a third-year PhD student in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department.
